Omaha Symphony Concert for Children with Autism (and their Families)

May 1, 2022
Holland Center 1200 Douglas Street Omaha, NE, 68102

Maestra Deanna Tham and the Omaha Symphony presented an interactive concert featuring music from Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 4, Ravel’s Mother Goose Suite, and more.

Audience members took turns exploring movement through music—big and small, up and down, high and low—before settling into calm as the concert drew to a close.

Developed specifically to be inclusive of sensory needs, the program took place in a relaxed environment with flexible seating and open space for movement. Guests were also invited to arrive early to explore the venue and participate in pre-concert activities.
