A narrator’s voice describes what is happening on screen or during a live performance: the scene, the characters, etc. This is catered toward those with low vision, who are visually impaired and/or blind.
Take a tour of the show! Learn about the design and props used for the show and get the chance to physically touch them. (Some items you may not be allowed to touch, but we will let you know.)
For the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community, ASL interpreters interpret the show from English to American Sign Language.
For Deaf and Hard of Hearing community and beyond, the words that are spoken or sung are typed onto the screen verbatim. Sound effects are also captioned.
A dedicated space for those to unwind, rest, and be free of overstimulation.
Superscript is a type of captioning displayed across the top of the stage. Unlike live captioning, it’s prepared in advance and follows the script exactly. When a performance is in another language, the superscript is translated into the language of the audience (in our case, English).
